Nothing comes after the eight.

So why does everyone write 08′ all the time? It just peeves me. Really, the last time I checked it was ‘08. Because you’re abbreviating the 20 out of 2008. Are there some secret numbers or letters that come after the eight? No. So, the next person I see use o8′ will be on my Shit List, which I got at Urban Outfitters.

My Shit List is actually pretty awesome. It’s basically this notepad that has little boxes with small fields like “Name:, Time and Date:, Offense:, Level of Outrage:, Amount of Time until Forgiveness:” I haven’t had the chance to write anyone up except my sister, so I’m looking forward to that. Urban Outfitters is a really cool place in itself. I ended up blowing like 120 bucks there over break, but it is kind of expensive. I also stopped by the National Gallery and bought two prints: an Andy Warhol quote-print and a Romare Bearden collage. So by then I was left with… not much. I didn’t get the iPod touch since I wasn’t able to produce the iPod I had lost. Apparently after you lose 5 iPods you’ll never get a new one again. I did get a hand-me-down Video; I’m okay with that.

Exams… one week. I… I don’t even… ugh. If that weren’t bad enough my mock trial team is performing on Monday for Gov’t and no one on my team has done anything so I’ll have to write all 3 crosses, directs, the closing, and the opening this weekend. Aaron comes up to me today “Uhh, Zack, I didn’t do my cross last night…” and then he spends the whole class ‘practicing his cross examination of Vimal’: “Isn’t it true that your mom sucked mah dick last night, shawwwty.” And the whole time I wanted to yell “Aaron, you are a soft-spoken IB kid, not a straight-up badass G shawty.”

New Year’s Eve was fun though. Basically just a night of DDR, Superbad, and sitting around doing nothing. And eating. People were kind of being camera whores, and I never got the strip tease I was promised, but it was still really great. It was just comforting to be back with people who I can relax around. RM is getting better everyday though, so I’m pretty content. My resolution: get a job.
