Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa.

May 26, 2008 · 4 Comments

I really forgot that I had a blog. Like Bea did, I’ll just prove that I haven’t died. I’m in a good mood, and I’m counting the days until I’m free of RM for two months. The past fours days at the beach gave me a really good taste of summer and I want it now.

This summer I’m planning to live in Dewey. I’ll work at Beach Break and get free blended coffee all day, and then I’ll come back to the house to play volleyball with the home-made net that I crafted (a rope from the outdoor stairs to an upturned chair) until my forearms ache. By then it’ll be time to eat so we’ll walk to the board walk and buy Louie’s and then Kohr Bros. Then we’ll take the Jolly Trolly home and ignore the obnoxiously drunk forty-somethings who think they’re twenty-somethings. Then it’ll be late and time to go down to the beach where we can sit and relax until the next day when I have to go and be paid to drink icy lattes down the street.

…I wish, but this summer should still be stunner/money (I can’t choose which hip lingo to use). In the mean time, I can comfort myself with the fact that life right now is pretty good, regardless of school attendance. First and foremost, I’ve learned to tolerate RM. Also, I got a new racket, and I’m excited to try it out ASAP. And, my mom is really into paying me to do stuff recently, like… twenty bucks for taking out the trash, and another ten for bringing in the groceries. I’m not complaining, but it’s sort of strange. Like yesterday she gave me thirty dollars for “all my help that day.” I never knew that talking on the deck and ignoring her was helpful, and I wish she had told me a while ago.

On a less prosperous note, I lost my wallet. Oh, and my cell phone and iPod. Anyway…

Here’s my May playlist:

1. Banana Pancakes – Jack Johnson

2. We Own the Sky – M83

3. Bittersweet Poetry – KanYe West

4. Sour Cherry – The Kills

5. Feel the Love – Cut Copy

6. Great DJ – The Ting Tings

7. Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa – Vampire Weekend

8. On Peak Hill – The Stars

9. You Star – AAR

Third time’s the charm.

So I can’t wait for the Sims 3. Finding this almost made me pee myself yesterday, and if that didn’t do it, finding this certainly did. I read this article though, about how people who really like the Sims are actually unhappy with their own lives and feel the need to vicariously live through the game. I’d believe it. Bea, hate to break it to ya, but RM sucks double time. But don’t let anyone know that you think thatm or else people will call you mean and snobby at lunch as you try to defend yourself without insulting them. (This is strangely the second time in a row that I’ve directly addressed Bea in a post). So, I thought I might borrow a page from your book, and let everyone know the…
TEN THINGS I WISH I HAD TATOOED ON MY FORHEAD

1. Try as you might, but you will never get a significant other if you never talk to someone of the opposite sex.

2. You are not inherently smart because you are Asian, and unfortunately, for a smart person you are surprisingly stupid when it comes to anything that does not involve equations.

3. My parents are not negligent for letting me get B’s.

4. Don’t compare Eastern to Clemente, I don’t care that you guys went to Six Flags, we went to first base.

5. Don’t ask me what that means.

6. Saying someone is hot is not “sketchy.”

7. Saying “sketchy” does not make you any cooler.

8. Somewhere, over the rainbow, people have real conversations that aren’t about college or IB!

9. Yes, I wrote on your Wall after midnight… on a school night! Get over it.

10. Yes, I manage to walk home everyday in Silver Spring and live to tell the story. I’ve got the bullet wounds to back it up.

Enough complaining, I’m sick of being sick of RM. Hopefully to the point of no longer being sick of it, but we’ll see. In other news, I’m am a nouveau hundredaire! I’ve garnered exactly $117.25, saving dollar by scare dollar (and a few quarters), and I am loving the good life. Just yesterday, I treated myself to an ice cream sandwich at lunch, and I don’t think Good Humor product has ever tasted so righteously delicious. I am living the good life. Maybe I’ll invest in something or other, or maybe an hour of a time share in Hawaii… the possibilities are infinite.

Oh, yeah: new layout. I had it a while back, but Bea’s new one made me feel inadequate. Anyway, I’m currently working thinking on a black and white (no grey, that is) photographic collage of sorts. You’ll see that in… an amount of time.

Get krunque.

December 16, 2007 · 2 Comments

I’m too lazy to code stuff myself, so it came down to Blogger or WordPress. I obviously chose WordPress. I think the layout’s awesome so I’m satisfied with that but I’m still working out the little kinks of the CSS code that I want to change. I might go back to Freewebs when the homework lays of a little, but this’ll do for now.
Enough about site changes, it’ll almost Christmas! Here’s the list:

  • iPod touch
  • North Face Pamir Jacket, Black or Grey
  • OS X Leopard
that’s right, my MacBook finally got fixed.
  • Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
  • CD/DVD Drive for MacBook
the CD drive was, however, irreparable.
  • Starbucks Card
  • iTunes Card
  • The Sims 2: Seasons
  • Candy and chocolate
  • Smorz Cereal
  • Final Cut Express
  • iSymphony iPod Speakers
they’re like two inches wide, fit in your pocket, and plug right into the iPod through a headphone jack
  • PacSun Card
  • Urban Outfitters Card
  • Film Camera
    for Photo class
  • Canon Powershot
  • cash mahhney
  • I know it’s kind of long but in my defense, I do know that I won’t get half of it. I have this uncontrollable urge to go sledding, because I didn’t get the chance when it snowed last week. I know, snow before Christmas? So much for global warming! (I was kidding, if you couldn’t tell). I watched this creepy Nation Geographic special about North Korea. That place is like Brainwashland. This blind woman said that the hardest part about her handicap was not seeing the Great Leader’s face. When asked “Can the Great Leader do any wrong?” the people genuinely did not understand the question. It was frickin scary. God bless America, Amen and thank our savior Jesus Christ.

Well, I think RM is much better now, but I could be happier. Then again I wouldn’t want to be going anywhere else, so I can’t complain.
